As the nights draw in and the tatty holidays are behind us most rational people’s minds turn to snow sports. We’re lucky in Aberdeen that we can access Glen Shee and the Lecht easily; not so lucky in that sometimes these places can be a little bare under ski.
If your ski or board bases look like you’ve been riding in a quarry you will want to get them back into decent condition for the start of the season. Bring your gear to the man cave to get base repairs, refresh the structure, edge & wax your kit and you’ll hit the snow like a reborn skier. Better still you can learn how to maintain your own gear, a transcendental experience akin to building your own bicycle wheels.
